Nature!

My first post for today, would be about nature! I found this picture in my other blog, Tumblr, they have many pictures and are all very beautiful ones so credits to Tumblr who would be my main source!, This picture really caught my eye. Its so intense and significant, I am sure that there are tons of other great pictures out there. But i decided to choose this. Its just so meaningful. I can feel so much from just the first glance. Nature certainly gods greatest gift to mankind, and it is the source of life, humans and nature have mutual dependence, without one, one cannot live. Its like a circle which connects. As humans, are gifted with intellect and power, we have obligations to mother nature and to preserve its mountains, forest, flora's and fauna's, which is now going through mass of destruction.I know whatever i am writing might seem boring and cliche, but i really do feel the pivotal role nature plays in our lives. When there is no water, we would be all in bad moods and messed up conditions, what more if there is no food? how did we react to this situation?.The people on Easter Island, disappeared, as they used up all the resources there is, and remains of animals and people were found in the place and later times, the people there are scarce and they don't remember about their ancestors or anything about the island. It was said that they used all the wood to make boats and also weird looking statues that was always facing the ocean. They used it all up to a point that they didn't have anything else. Archaeologist said that they might have all died because of starvation, or they just went away. It would be doomsday for us, Humans if this day ever comes, when there is no food or resources left. We would all react like barbarians and turn into cavemen, tearing each other up and bloodshed just for survival, and end up being savage beasts. Its a perfect nightmare to me. There are many efforts taken up by nature societies all around the world in creating awareness not only at primary level, but also at tertiary level, because no matter age, religion, colour or even race it is our obligations in taking care of mother nature.Activities that we are all exposed were, Green Peace, Green Week, Earth Hour,No Plastic Bag Day, Car Pooling. In the Western Countries, working people, are going to office riding bicycles, it is true that you would step into the office with a messed up hair and sweaty clothes, but its also a workout for you and a healthy one indeed at the same time, doing your bit in helping  mother nature and also the depletion of the ozone layer.Imagine if all of us did the same, it would certainly create a huge difference. But why am I saying this to others when i myself aren't practicing it, sometimes, i guess laziness just takes over our whole system. if we don't want to do that there are many other options EASY ones. For instance, switch of the main plug points when not is use, especially the ones connection to huge electronic items, such as televisions, DVD players, radio's as they are vampire loads. TURN OFF THE FAUCET when not in use! that's SO EASY! Lets not be ignorant! to the cry of MOTHER NATURE! It is in need of our help ! We don't want to lose our 'habitat' like how the animals lost theirs, and seek refuge into a strangers world where everything and anything doesn't seem familiar anymore.Let us all do our part in saving our HOME SWEET HOME!!
GO GREEN!

Introduction!

Well!! hie and hello to everyone and anyone who reads this blog, Firstly i did like to give myself a pat on the back for finally coming up with this one post, as i have been writing drafts after drafts to what i have to write about, it’s an agony, as it is actually for evaluation, which is 5 percent, but then i do enjoy writing blogs, i have another blog, but it’s about very random topics and thoughts that suddenly pop up out of my mind, all messed up and unorganized, since it is an evaluation blog, it came automatically in my mind that it had to be flawless, which is rather and impossible task, but i was glad to hear when my lecturer said she would not penalize for grammatical errors! YAY! But the downside was that we had to stick to only one theme throughout the semester, which was a little difficult, but hey beggars mustn't be choosers, so i can handle it, and i hope that i would continue this blog even after the semester ends.
The theme of my blog, A Thousand Words, I hope it didn't baffle anyone of you out there, it actually comes from the saying, ‘A Picture is Worth A Thousand Words''. I hope i got it right. To me, Art is more than a thousand words, it tells the history and the era and the type of people, not by looking at the brush strokes, but the different colours and images that are painted onto an empty canvas, So many feelings are embedded in just that one picture, if you ask me, the body language and expressions it tells so much without the use of WORDS. Art those not only comprises pictures, but also poetry, literature, music it is made up of a diverse array, its infinite we can’t define what it really is, if you actually think deeply, not too deep, but just think, why do some people express magnificence by saying, it’s a work of ART, when they are referring to a great book. So i here am going to talk about all sorts of art, Pop art, Ancient Art, Poetry,Literature,Books,Food & anything that defines the meaning of art. Of course, I would be doing thorough research, if i were to post some very famous painting, as don't want to comment anything inappropriate or less accurate, and finally, i hope my post would be intriguing and also inspiring and i would also have an awesome time blogging about it.
Thank You
